As part of a 2006 credentialing initiative Weber State University spent time improving the assessment of their general
education program. An eight month pilot of O.S.P. was conducted as part of this initiative. The attached
file provides details of the pilot.
This template works with the Syracuse University School of Education Proficiency matrix to generate a web based presentation of the submitted evidence, reflections on each proficiency and the student's overall emerging theory of teaching at each stage of their program. The audience for this portfolio is a panel of reviewers that assess the student's ability to critically reflect and explain their practice.
